TERMINA.
CLOCK TOWN
The center of Termina's commerce and housings. It is the most industrialized of the other residencies and homes artifacts from all over. Still it is subdivided into four districts, yet has taken over Termina Field and merged with Romani Ranch. The Carnival of Time is it's yearly awaited celebration.
GREAT BAY
Termina's main area of trade especially with it's docks and boats. Many who live here are a mix of classes, yet the Zoras still dominate the area. Trade routes are processed at this area and many consider this Termina's largest tourist destination. To this day the Great Bay is still the location of the Marine Research Laboratory, the Great Bay Temple, and the Waterfall Rapids.
SNOWHEAD
Always coated in white, this is where refugees and runaways tend to keep home. The shrine is open towards anyone who wishes to visit. Most tend to do a pilgrimage to visit the mountain top shrine; while others come to visit the mountain smith shop; where it is said the best weapons are forged.
WOODFALL (Southern Swamp)
Known for it's Deku and Fairie residency, and usage of magic, the inside is still only a place for the elite to reside within. Visitors are only allowed an extent of its area for tourism reasons, although are blocked from entering the more glamorous neighborhood. Only those with access from a higher up may enter. They are mostly well known for their boat cruise.
IKANA CANYON
Now known for their military strength; this is where the blackmarket resides and only those who know their way past the desert and valley can reach its commercial and residential area.
It is the home of exotic spices as well as weaponry and traditions related to honor the spirits. Still to this day the land is haunted by the spirits of those who died in its blood-stained past. Well known areas that are still visited are the Stone Towers and the Ancient Castle of Ikana.
STORY.
BACKSTORY
Growing up in a much more industrialized Termina; where their society was technologically advanced than ever; the Ancient Tribe had a reprisal in which their group and knowledge would have a rebirth; becoming an important herd of residents for Termina and it's history. Liliane's parents were part of this new devotion in participating within the tribe (her mother a Great Fairy from WoodFall, and her father a respected Termina Knight from Ikana) ; to the point of even offering their daughter to become one of the four guardians which would represent the Four Giants respectively. With knowing what exactly the Majora's Mask's purpose was; along with the new information regarding all the other ancient masks within hold in museums or safe keeping by elder leaders; the now modernized Ancient Tribe would create a facility in which would create and raise the best soldiers to protect their land from further harm or destruction because of these 'dormant' entities (some questioning whether or not these 'gods' exists).
Just like the Four Giants whom ruled over the four cardinal areas of Termina; Liliane would be assigned a region; the region of her homeland within Ikana. Herself and several other children were chosen at birth; or a young age to start their rigorous training; a test of willpower; mental strength; and adaptability. Through it all Liliane would endure and overcome; eventually giving her the title for the fourth guardian, along with the mask containing the demon Twinmold's spirit; a remain from the long history of Termina's savior. With that she would don the mask herself; gaining Twinmold's abilities; along with some characteristics such as small horns and fangs.
Others within their districts would go through the same rigorous training as well as acceptance into becoming a guardian with their masks; respectively:
The guardian of Woodfall City: Odolwa's Mask.
The guardian of Snowhead: Goht's Mask.
The guardian of Great Bay: Gyrog's Mask.
The lead guardian of Clock Town: Majora's Mask.
All would be in charge of protecting Majora's Mask (and its wearer); as well as their respective lands and fending off anyone who dare use The Fierce Deity's mask for selfish reasons as doing so may cause for another great war within Termina itself.
CURRENT
Liliane had traveled out with her childhood friend Jack, although upon their journey together, the male went missing, and herself unable to find it. Returning home and sharing her story to the elders, she was punished for her inability to protect the guardian. To that she was left in the hands of her mother; of whom which she learned was more than willing to tear her apart in need of the blood she procured to satisfy the clan's own gain.
Since birth she had already been sought out for her blood's miracles, and now to see her mother selling her out because of that; Liliane was at a loss on whom she may be able to trust within her society. They hunted her; chased her down after escaping her own home, and her father, who she loved dearly, to be nowhere found. With that she ran back to the Hyrule of a previous time in order to hide for her own safety.
